Localizing the global goals

On 13 – 15 July 2019, the Mayors Migration Council held its first Leadership Board Meeting in New York on the margins of the 2019 High-Level Political Forum on the Sustainable Development Goals. At the Leadership Board meeting mayors reaffirmed their commitment to improving international migration governance, especially as climate change impacts forcibly displace people and is projected to further increase migration flows in the future.

This year's edition of the European Development Days will take place on 18 & 19 June in Brussels. This meeting is an opportunity to bring the development community together each year to share ideas and experiences in ways that inspire new partnerships and innovative solutions to the world’s most pressing challenges.
