Why Mayors' Solidarity is Important in the Fight of Global Issues

On 13 – 15 July 2019, the Mayors Migration Council held its first Leadership Board Meeting in New York on the margins of the 2019 High-Level Political Forum on the Sustainable Development Goals. At the Leadership Board meeting mayors reaffirmed their commitment to improving international migration governance, especially as climate change impacts forcibly displace people and is projected to further increase migration flows in the future.
