New York, United States, 24 March – The UN 2023 Water Conference in New York culminated with a breakthrough response to the global water crisis, with national governments, regional and local governments, businesses and civil society committing to advance the water agenda.
The Annual Meeting of the Global Taskforce took place on Friday, 19 February to provide a space for topics related to pivotal joint advocacy moments of the year.

For this year’s Climate Action Summit in New York, UN Secretary-General António Guterres called on leaders to bring concrete, realistic plans to enhance their nationally determined contributions by 2020, plans that would bring nations in line to reduce greenhouse gas emissions by 45 per cent over the next decade and to net zero emissions by 2050.
